Exploring the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. We enter through Tiananmen Square, at 100 acres it is the world's largest
public square. Initally this was the front door of the Forbidden City. Completed in 1420 the Forbidden City is the world's
largest palace complex and is protected by a 20 foot mote and a 32 foot high wall and contains 9,999 buildings. Today it is known as the Palace Museum, the Forbiden City was the imperial palace durning the Ming and Qing dynasties where visitors were forbidden for five centuries.

The summer palace over 700 acres and once the summer residance of the Qing ding dynasty. One of the finest Chinese architectural gardens.
