007 JAPAN Fuji San Climb No 1 Create your own albums?

Rex & Lorie "The Grand Adventure" Mt. Fuji Climb 2nd & 3rd 2004. Fuji San which is how the people of Japan refer to the mountian is among  one of the holiest places in Japan and at one time only the monks were allowed to climb to the top and not untill some time early in this century were women allowed to make the journey. The climbing season is short from July till the end of August and it is during this time when many Japaneese make this pilgramage to the top. It is the hope of every climber to see the sun rise from Fuji San onece in a life time. We were quite lucky to have made the  climb and our Fuji climbing stick with their marks from every station along the way are the center peice of our living room at home. If you go to Japan do not miss the opprotunity to trek to the top of Mt. Fuji.
