Members of the council performing a battle reenactment in the same fashion as what took place in the 1800’s all throughout the Civil war. In this setting you could imagine you are there as this conflict rages all around you. The reenactment is a good representation of how the fighting and strategy of war was carried out in those days. The reenactment is suitable as a family activity and as you will observe the members of this group are made up of entire families who for the long weekend live and dress and act as though they were in that time. There are little babies, small children teen agers mothers fathers and yes even grandparents all living the life.
This truly is a family event and if you and your family would like to join a unit the North West Civil War Council can be reached at the following web address. This is also a good place to check on future events and gatherings. You can find them at www.nwce.org
