PortlandOregon Rose Festival Events 2009 Starlight Run and Parade.

Every year the Last Week in May and the first two week in June Portland Celebrates our city and the Rose with many events. The Starlight Run and Parade kicks off the  celebration, any one can enter this run and they do both the serious runners and those who not only like to run but to spoof around as well. Some are well trained and others not so physically ready, however all comers run and every one has a great time. Then comes the Parade to show off High School bands and other bands from around the North West and there are floats entered by other community events to expose there communities fairs and special celebrations to the on lookers. The parade starts at 9:00pm and last till 11:30 and it is always well attended.   This is the 2009 run and parade.
