If you would like to make your photo albums available to your friends and the
public, Pixagogo makes it easy!
Sharing Your Album With the Public
If you wish to share an album with the general public, you can do so by
modifying the settings for your album. Once you have loaded the Album Settings
page, you should see the following options:
The Public Gallery
If you want to make your album eligible for Pixagogo's Public Gallery, select
Candidate for the Public Gallery. This means that your gallery will be
considered for Pixagogo's Online Public Gallery. If you select this option,
make sure that you choose the appropriate category for your gallery in the box
provided.
Sharing Your Gallery
If you would prefer just to make your album available for general sharing use,
you can select Shared.This means that anyone who has a link to your gallery
will be able to see your album. Your gallery web address or URl will look like
this: http://www.pixagogo.com/yourusername
Protecting Your Gallery
You can password protect your gallery if you prefer that the general public not
have access to it. You can select this option and then input the password into
the box provided.
Making Your Gallery Private
If you want to use your gallery for your own private use, please select
Private. This means that your Pixagogo username and
password will be required to view your gallery.
Promoting Your Gallery
Once you have your desired settings for your gallery, you can send out your URL
or web address to your friends. Your URL will look this like:
http://www.pixagogo.com/yourusername (replace this with your actual
Pixagogo username)
Please remember that Pixagogo does not tolerate SPAM. If
you choose to promote your gallery, please make sure that your methods do not
conflict with Pixagogo's Terms and Conditions of Use.
